Ozzy Osbourne back on the crazy train, but not divorcing

Ozzy Osbourne is putting the split rumors to rest — but that doesn’t mean everything is hunky dory in TV’s favorite reality family.

Amidst rumors of an impending split between Ozzy Osbourne and Sharon Osbourne, the rocker has finally stepped up to put the whispers of marital discord to rest — but admitted something else is going on.

Ozzy is going off the rails on a crazy train. But thankfully he’s back on track for recovery.

In a Facebook post to fans, Ozzy laid out exactly what’s been going on, and why Sharon temporarily moved out of the family mansion to stay at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

“For the last year and a half I have been drinking and taking drugs. I was in a very dark place and was an a–hole to the people I love most, my family. However, I am happy to say that I am now 44 days sober,” he wrote.

“Just to set the record straight, Sharon and I are not divorcing. I’m just trying to be a better person.”

“I would like to apologize to Sharon, my family, my friends and my band mates for my insane behavior during this period……… and my fans.”

In January Ozzy almost burned down the house and suffered burns when the couple says a candle burst and he tried to put the fire out using his arm, which was in a cast.

“I go into the kitchen to get water and throw the water on it, with the doors open and the water it erupted! It erupted, Ozzy’s hair from here to here, gone,” Sharon explained on The Talk.

“And we are like two idiots, it was like The Three Stooges. Everything you are not meant to do — go to bed with candles alight, open the doors and put water on — we did it all.”

Ozzy has struggled with substance abuse for decades. He was famously kicked out of Black Sabbath because of his boozing and drugging (despite his protestations that the other band members were doing the same thing) and Sharon described the awful state of their marriage, including Ozzy’s attempt to kill her, before he got sober.

When rumors of an impending split started to hit mainstream news, son Jack Osbourne tweeted his disgust. “…it’s all bulls***,” he wrote. “Last time I check a lot of British news papers weren’t amazing sources of accurate information. Moving on…”

Sharon Osbourne has yet to comment on Ozzy’s condition.
