Michael Jordan‘s wedding cost how much? It’s being reported by Us Weekly that the superstar athlete’s second marriage, to former model Yvette Prieto, cost close to $10 million.
The couple married on Saturday in Palm Beach, Fla., at the Episcopal Church of Bethesda-by-the-Sea and then celebrated their nuptials at the Bear’s Club in Jupiter. There were approximately 500 guests for the ceremony, with 1,500 more joining them for the reception.
According to a People source, “He [Jordan] wanted to give Yvette everything she’s ever wanted.”

Naturally, there were plenty of celebs in attendance, including filmmaker Spike Lee, former NBA players Patrick Ewing and Scottie Pippen and golfer Tiger Woods, who came without his current girlfriend, Lindsey Vonn. Musical tributes to the couple were performed by Usher, Robin Thicke, and K’Jon, who sang “On the Ocean” for their first dance.
The wedding was coordinated by star planner Sharon Sacks, and no expense was spared. From the bride’s custom-made J’Aton Couture gown adorned with Swarovski crystals to the gorgeous flowers from celebrity florist Mark’s Garden, it was indeed a fancy wedding.

One source told Us Weekly, “The attention to detail was magnificent. The tent even smelled beautiful. It looked like the most luscious garden you could imagine. You walked into the dining room and it looked like heaven. The room was filled with thousands of candles, thousands. It was heavenly.”
The 35-year-old bride and the 50-year-old retired athlete have been together for five years after meeting in a Miami nightclub. She previously dated Julio Iglesias, Jr., while Jordan was married to Juanita Vanoy for 17 years. He had three children with his first wife: sons Jeffrey Michael, 24, and Marcus James, 22, and daughter Jasmine, 19.
