Jennifer Lopez flees gunshots during video shoot

Jennifer Lopez‘s gunshot scare on the set of her music video had the cast and crew in Fort Lauderdale scrambling for cover! Tweets from one eyewitness have shed light on what went down during the filming of “Live It Up.”

One moment they were frolicking in the sun and sand, the next Jennifer Lopez and her fellow music videos stars were doing the “duck and cover.”

Reports of Jennifer Lopez’s gunshots scare over the weekend come from Entertainment Tonight‘s Rob Marciano, who was in Fort Lauderdale to interview the singer about her “Live It Up” shoot when a series of nerve-wracking sounds interrupted.

“BREAKING: Gunshots fired on Fort Lauderdale beach DURING my JLo interview. No kidding. Security scrambled her away,” he tweeted Sunday, sharing a play-by-play of the drama.

Unlike the photo above from one of the video’s happier moments, all those on set presumably kept their tops on when security took charge.

“Heading that way hoping what we think happened didn’t,” he added a few minutes later. “Can hear & see ambulances converging ~400 yards down the street…Police confirming: ‘Shots fired. No one hit.’ Whew.”

Indeed! Thankfully, Jennifer Lopez and the cast and crew remain safe to “Live It Up” another day, although some reports claim police arrived on the scene and detained multiple people.

Perhaps not using the best choice of words, Rob Marciano wrote Monday, “Shooting ET out of #NYC today, then meeting up with @jlo before she hits the #MetGala to finish the interview we started in #Florida.”

Seeming unfazed by the gunshot scare, Pitbull, Jennifer Lopez’s “Live It Up” co-star, tweeted Monday, “thank u @JLo for another amazing opportunity & giving me a chance 2 learn from u muchas muchas gracias besoteeeee.”

All in a day’s work for Jenny from the block, right?
