You’ve been waiting on the edge of your seat for months now to find out what was in that trunk, but the wait is almost over! PLL returns June 11 with a juicy new case to solve.
The countdown has begun! The Pretty Little Liars summer premiere is right around the corner and we could not be more pumped for its return!
When we last left the girls, we found out that Toby (Keegan Allen) really wasn’t a bad guy (Thank God, because that jaw and those abs… it’d be hard to hate him), there was a mystery item in a trunk, and Red Coat was still on the loose. There are so many questions that must be answered!

Apparently, we’re going to find out ASAP in Season 4’s first episode what exactly was in that trunk! The episode will pick up right where the finale left off, so we can all rest easy because at least that mystery won’t string us along all season.
But like always with this show, more answers only lead to more questions. The biggest question of all, “Is Ali alive?” will continue this season. In this sneak peek, Spencer (Troian Bellisario) and Toby, or Spoby for super fans, hunt Red Coat into an abandoned building where Spencer comes up with her own conspiracy theory. Maybe Ali actually is alive and she’s ready to come home?
