The Best Actor nominees at the 2025 Critics Choice Awards put on a very handsome display on the red carpet
Film and TV stars who captivated us in 2024 were being celebrated at the Feb. 7 award show and this year’s Best Actor nominees certainly brought their fashion A-game to the 2025 Critics Choice Awards red carpet.
For Best Actor in a film the category, Adrien Brody took home the award for The Brutalist, beating Colman Domingo for Sing Sing and Ralph Fiennes for Conclave as well as nominees who skipped the show, A Complete Unknown star Timothée Chalamet, Queer’s Daniel Craig and Heretic star Hugh Grant.
The Best Actor in a TV Drama win went to Shōgun star Hiroyuki Sanada over The Old Man star Jeff Bridges, Doctor Who’s Ncuti Gatwa, Eddie Redmayne for The Day of the Jackal, Rufus Sewell for The Diplomat and Antony Starr for The Boys.
In the TV Comedy category, Nobody Wants This heartthrob Adam Brody took home the award over English Teacher star Brian Jordan Alvarez, David Alan Grier for St. Denis Medical, What We Do in the Shadows star Kayvan Novak, and Steve Martin and Martin Short, both for Only Murders in the Building.
In the Limited TV Series category, Colin Farrell won for The Penguin after being nominated alongside Richard Gadd for Baby Reindeer, Tom Hollander for FEUD: Capote vs. The Swans, Kevin Kline for Disclaimer, Ewan McGregor for A Gentleman in Moscow and Andrew Scott for Ripley.
