The 2025 Critics Choice Awards is a big date night for a lot of Hollywood elite, so is it really any wonder that after they get all glammed up, leave any kids with the sitter, and (hopefully) any worries behind, that they go in for a little smooch? Some of our favorite couples hit the red carpet tonight, and a whole lot of them hit us with some adorable moments.
Because while there are plenty of A-listers who prefer to stay APAP (as private as possible), there are a tried and true few who are always happy to go for some PDA. We even got some surprise playfulness from Liev Schrieber and an unexpected date night from Adam Brody and Leighton Meester.
We rounded up our favorite public displays of affection from the 2025 Critics Choice Awards. From leaning in close to share a secret, to leaning in for *ahem* a whole lot more, there were so many aww-worthy moments on this year’s red carpet.
And honestly, it was really nice to see some extra love given the circumstances of this award show. The 2025 Critics Choice Awards was originally scheduled for Jan. 12 but was postponed due to the devastating Los Angeles wildfires. Given the heartbreak so many in the community are feeling, it’s heartwarming to see some intimate moments between these couples — many of whom have been impacted by the natural disaster.
So we say go ahead! Hug your friends, kiss your partners, or elbow-bump like it’s 2020. Now is the time to show the ones you love you love them.
Marco Perego & Zoe Saldaña
Ahead of the show, Marco Perego and wife Zoe Saldaña had a little red carpet rendezvous. The two shared a kiss before heading into the show where Saldaña was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Emilia Pérez.
Taylor Neisen & Liev Schreiber
Liev Schreiber kept it PG on the carpet, giving his wife Taylor Neisen a playful squeeze. The couple attended with Schreiber’s son Sasha Schreiber who he shares with ex Naomi Watts.
The actor later jokingly thanked Niesen and Sasha for “forcing him” to attend the show after he won Best Supporting Actor in a Limited Series or Movie Made for Television for his performance in The Perfect Couple.
Ethan Slater & Ariana Grande
Ethan Slater and Ariana Grande didn’t pose together on the red carpet but the pair did sit together inside the show.
Georgina Chapman & Adrien Brody
OK, so clearly Georgina Chapman and Adrien Brody‘s love languages are not physical touch, but their coordinating outfits are their own kind of display of affection.
Colman Domingo & Raúl Domingo
Sing Sing star Colman Domingo posed with his husband of 10 years Raúl Domingo and we can’t tell which one deserves a place on the best-dressed list more.
Leighton Meester & Adam Brody
For Leighton Meester and Adam Brody, the Critics Choice Awards was their first public outing since losing their home in the wildfires. They had their arms wrapped tightly around each other the whole way down the carpet.
Analuisa Corrigan & Logan Lerman
Logan Lerman and his fianceé Analuisa Corrigan were inseparable at the Critics Choice Awards where Lerman was nominated for Best Supporting Actor in a Limited Series or Movie Made for Television for his performance in We Were the Lucky Ones.
Marianne Jean-Baptiste & Evan Williams
Hard Truths star Marianne Jean-Baptiste was all smiles with husband of 27 (!!!) years, Evan Williams.
Keri Russell & Matthew Rhys
How chic are these two? Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys posed together as she celebrated a nomination for her role in The Diplomat.
