Princess Maria-Laura of Belgium & William Isvy
The Belgian Royal Palace announced in Jan. 2025 that King Philippe’s niece Princess Maria-Laura secretly welcomed her first child.
“Princess Maria Laura and Mr. William Isvy are delighted to announce the birth of their son Albert, born on Sunday 26 January in Brussels. Albert … is doing well, just like his mother,” the palace wrote in a post on X (formerly Twitter), per an English translation. “The families of the young parents share in their happiness.”
The palace also included a sweet photo of the newborn royal who was born with a full head of hair.
Frances Bean Cobain & Riley Hawk
Frances Bean Cobain and Riley Hawk shared a series of snapshots in 2024 that shocked everybody: she and Riley are parents! She shared the photos of their newborn son to her Instagram with the caption reading, “9.17.2024/ Ronin Walker Cobain Hawk 🩵 ✨ Welcome to the world most beautiful son. We love you more than anything ✨.”
For those who don’t know, Frances and Riley have been together since 2021. While they’ve kept their romance quite private, we do know they tied the knot on Oct 7, 2023.
John Mulaney & Olivia Munn
In unexpected news, John Mulaney and Olivia Munn announced on Sept 22, 2024 that they have welcomed a daughter via surrogacy, shocking everyone since no one knew this was happening behind-the-scenes.
Munn shared the news of their daughter’s arrival on Instagram with the caption reading, “Méi June Mulaney came into the world September 14, 2024, the year of the dragon🐉.”
Mulaney and Munn have been together since 2021 and have welcomed another child together in late 2021, a son named Malcolm Hiệp Mulaney.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt & Tasha McCauley
All three of Joseph-Gordon Levitt and Tasha McCauley’s have been secrets to the public. Their two sons were born in 2015 and 2017, and in 2024, Gordon-Levitt revealed they had welcomed a daughter nearly two years prior.
“You know, one of the best parts [of being a dad] I think about playing with kids is their lack of inhibition, willingness to just, like, pretend that something else is happening,” he said on a PBS podcast, per People. “Pretend that reality is, is completely something else.”

Wayne Brady announced during the premiere of Wayne Brady: The Family Remix that he secretly welcomed a new addition to the family with ex-girlfriend Tina with whome he had an on-and-off relationship.
“My family is everything to me but there are some things I’ve never told anybody outside of this immediate family. Like, I happen to have a 6-month-old son that people don’t know about,” he said, per Us Weekly.
Brady also shares an adult daughter with ex-wife Mandie Taketa. “This is what happened,” Maketa told the cameras. “Tina and Wayne had been broken up a year. Then [his] grandma Val passes away so we go to her funeral … then we come back. Something happened — you fill in the blank. Then two weeks later we get a phone call from Tina that she’s pregnant with Wayne’s baby.”
“When I first found out that Tina was pregnant, I was floored. It was not on my bingo card,” Brady said. “A 51-year-old dad? I didn’t see it coming. So was I happy? No. Because I was in shock.”
Alicia Vikander & Michael Fassbender
Actors Alicia Vikander and Michael Fassbender secretly welcomed a second child who she gave birth to prior to filming Hope, per Elle.
“All women have such different experiences, and going through it a second time was definitely harder for me. But I think training [for the movie] made it easier,” she told the outlet in July 2024.
“[Pregnancy is] so physically demanding, and I have so much admiration for any woman who has done it,” she continued. “I gave birth four times on screen before I did it myself. Fred Armisen & Riki Lindhome
Riki Lindhome dropped two bombshells in July 2024 when she told People that not only did she and comedian Fred Armisen tie the knot in June 2022. They became an “insta-family” when Lindhome welcomed a son via surrogate (also a secret to the world!) in March 2022 — just a few weeks after the longtime friends officially began dating.
The actress told Armisen that it wouldn’t make him a jerk and she wouldn’t be mad at him if he didn’t want to raise baby Keaton with her.

Mindy Kaling was already a mom to daughter, Katherine, 2, when she secretly gave birth to her second child, son Spencer, in September 2020. She revealed the news on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert when he asked her how she spent her time in quarantine.
“I’m telling this for the first time, it feels so strange. I gave birth to a baby boy on September 3,” Kaling said. “This is news to a lot of people, it’s true.”
In June 2024, she announced that she secretly welcomed a third child earlier that year. “In late February I gave birth to my daughter, Anne,” The Office star wrote in her announcement. “She’s the best birthday present I could’ve ever imagined. When things are hard, whenever I veer towards cynicism, my three kids are such a great reminder of the pure joy in my life.”
“I’m so lucky I live in a place where I could do this by myself, on my own timeline,” she added.
Elon Musk
Tesla CEO Elon Musk has quietly welcomed several kids and takes issue with the word “secret.” In June 2024, Musk confirmed to Page Six that he had welcomed his 12th child and second child with Shivon Zilis earlier in the year.
“As for ‘secretly fathered,’ that is also false,” he said. “All our friends and family know. Failure to issue a press release, which would be bizarre, does not mean ‘secret.’”
It was confirmed in 2023 through Walter Isaacson’s biography entitled Elon Musk that Musk and ex Grimes secretly welcomed a third child named Techno “Tau” Mechanicus in the previous year or so.
He also secretly welcomed twins with Strider and Azure with Zilis in 2021.
Julia Stiles
Julia Stiles secretly welcomed Baby No. 3 in 2023 and casually dropped the news in a 2024 interview with The New York Times.
“I’m kind of like a bundle of emotions because I have a 5-month-old baby and I went into directing my first movie,” she said, referring to her directorial debut for Wish You Were Here.
Stiles also shares sons Strummer and Arlo with husband Preston Cook and did not share whether she is still a boy mom nor the name of the baby. What she did share is that she’s somehow running on fumes but more energized than ever.

Actors Tamsin Egerton and Josh Hartnett are notoriously private about their kids, so it wasn’t terribly surprising to find out they secretly welcomed a fourth. During the 2024 SAG Awards red carpet, he casually dropped the news when responding to whether he had seen “Josh Hartnett Renaissance” trending online.
“I have not,” he said. “I have four kids, I live in the countryside. I’m busy either working or taking care of them, but thank you. That’s really kind.”
The couple shares three other kids — born between 2015 and 2019 — whose names have not been revealed.

In December, Page Six reported that Driver announced the birth of his daughter in a rehearsal for his SNL opening monologue, though the line was cut by the time the live show aired.

Paris Hilton and Carter Reum truly shocked the world by announcing to that they secretly welcomed a baby via surrogate, per People. Along with talking to People, Hilton shared a touching snapshot of her and Reum’s baby boy’s little hand to her Instagram with the caption, “You are already loved beyond words 💙.”

Ashley Olsen and her husband Louis Eisner secretly welcomed a baby a few months ago, later confirming the news to Daily Mail in Aug 2023! The pair have been together since 2017 and married in Dec 2022, and now are parents! Congrats!
