16 Times celebs were attacked for their appearance

After showing off her bubblegum pink hair and eyebrows, which she had dyed for a photo shoot, Cuoco was attacked by haters who called her “ugly” and said they were “shocked” by her appearance.

Cyrus posted a selfie boasting a bit of underarm hair and the comments were pretty atrocious, ranging from “Ratchet” to “That’s dirty as f***” and “You forgot to shave your underarm. Ew, that’s disgusting.”

We were so proud when Gomez posted an unedited bikini photo of herself with the caption, “I love being happy with me yall (sic),” but some Instagrammers took the positive post to a negative place and posted comments like “It just shows how fat she is” and “Eat less food.”

McGowan, who underwent reconstructive surgery in 2007 after a car accident, took offense to comments made about this Instagram photo, which included, “You look like Michael Jackson,” and “#michaeljackson no more plastic surgery please!

The internet is pretty brutal on Reid in general and Instagram is no different. “Give her 4 burgers,” “She looks sick” and “Can someone give that girl a big juicy steak?!” were all comments on this particular photo.

Jonah Hill

Hill doesn’t have an Instagram, but he sure did face some cruelty on Twitter recently. On-set photos of the actor surfaced in May 2015 and Page Six tweeted, “Jonah Hill is now the whale of Wall Street.”

After Smith posted this photo of himself holding a book he claims helped him learn how to live a healthy lifestyle, he received comments like “Sam Smith looks even uglier now that he’s lost weight it’s brilliant,” “Skinny Sam Smith freaks me out” and “Sam Smith is so skinny omg. Must be the AIDs (sic).”

Hate on social media got so bad for Azalea that she announced in February 2015 she would no longer be running any of her accounts and her management would be taking over instead. With comments on this photo like “Ew” and “You have spent millions on plastic surgery but you can’t fix dem moles,” can you blame her?

After making an appearance on DWTS recently, Lil’ Kim faced hateful tweets like “WTF happened to Lil’ Kim’s face?” and “Lil’ Kim looks like the result of a plastic surgery horror story.”

The singer was horrifically fat-shamed on Twitter after a recent red carpet appearance, but came back with the most epic response ever.

Winter was taken aback by the barrage of slut-shaming comments she received after posting this innocent picture of herself posing with her nieces on a boat outing. 

Particularly nasty Instagrammers even commented that Winter was “asking for it” for wearing a bikini, but the Modern Family star didn’t take the hateful words sitting down. She posted another picture slamming haters and asking for her followers to lift each other up instead of bringing each other down.
