Ryan Seacrest Sells His Los Angeles Home That’s a Luxury Hotel for One for $51 Million – See Inside!

by

While Ryan Seacrest offers plenty of personal insight into his life on Live With Kelly And Ryan, one thing you may not have known about the TV host is that he has an impressive eye for real estate. Seacrest has been primarily living in his luxurious Manhattan townhouse for a while now, and has finally sold his — wait for it — $51 million Los Angeles home, per Dirt.

This house — which was originally listed for $85 million — isn’t just Hollywood royalty via Seacrest: he bought the property from Ellen DeGeneres in 2012 (for only $39 million, mind you) and worked with Will & Grace creator Max Mutchnick to renovate the five-structure expanse, including an additional purchase of $2 million worth of property next door. The result? A palatial main house surrounded by a private ecosystem all its own, so awash with wonders you might forget you’re still in Beverly Hills.

There are a few expected “musts” for any celebrity home, and Seacrest’s checks the boxes nicely: professional gym? Check. Movie theater? Check? Pool and pool house? Check and check, (and we’re especially fond of the teak they used here). Now here’s where Seacrest’s former home starts to go above and beyond. The main house is a cool 9,000 square feet and boasts 22-foot ceilings so yeah, it feels like stepping into an ancient cathedral where you casually happen to live. The gourmet chef’s kitchen (another celeb must-have) gets even better with the outdoor pizza oven it’s attached to, which of course is near one of many al fresco dining areas.

The fabulousness of Seacrest’s home, though, lies not just in the royalty-level amenities of the main home, but the land itself, which includes a meditation garden, a pond with floating lily pads, a sculpture area, and enough trees that you can close your eyes and imagine you’re walking through the Italian countryside. This estate is the most literal representation of a “millionaire’s playground” we’ve ever seen — and we think it’s really important that you take a look too.
