Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka have decided to say goodbye to city living, but while they were here in their 8,000-square-foot Harlem townhouse — it was definitely a luxurious life. They’ve put the home on the market for $7.3 million after purchasing it in 2013 for $3.6 million and doing a head-to-toe renovation of the property.
Besides deluxe finishes and top-of-the-line appliances, this family had fun in this home. With 18 rooms to decorate, Harris, Burtka and twins, daughter Harper, and son Gideon, 10, could play in the rec room or enjoy a movie in the home theater. The parents could also sidle up to the bar for a drink or head down to the wine cellar for a sophisticated evening.
There is also a surprising amount of outdoor space (2,000 square feet!) from a gorgeous deck to a romantic hot tub off the master bedroom — the couple put the time and details into the property. They’re now going to make their East Hampton, New York home their permanent residence, but it looks like they sure had fun in NYC. Don’t miss the secret room that doubles as Harris’ office and be sure to see more photos of this exquisite home on Dirt.
