Beyoncé & Jay-Z’s $4 Million New Orleans Mansion Is Now For Sale — See Inside!

We didn’t even know Beyoncé and Jay-Z had a New Orleans residence, but they are putting it up for sale for $4.45 million after buying it in 2015. There are a lot of mysteries surrounding this property, including a fire started by an arsonist at the location in July. It’s unclear whether the superstar couple has ever resided in the 13,292-square-foot home, but their entity Sugarcane Park LLC, run by Tina Knowles and owned by Beyoncé’s Parkwood Entertainment company, is listed on the deed.

The house has a fascinating history as it was once a Presbyterian church, and then home to a ballet company, until it was turned into a residence in 2000 — and it’s honestly an artist’s dream come true. With bright, natural light and high ceilings, the creative vibe can flow for a musician or a dancer. And don’t let these dated photos fool you, the Zillow images are from the prior owner, according to Dirt, so there might have been some much-needed renovations during the Carters’ tenure there. With seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms, it truly is a New Orleans palace, just around the corner from the city’s famed St. Charles Avenue in the Garden District.

Don’t miss the photos of Beyoncé and Jay-Z really cool, but really unusual, mansion — the art studio is amazing — and be sure to check out more images at Dirt.
