Paris Jackson, Meg Ryan, & More Celebrities Who Dazzled At the amfAR Gala for AIDS Research

Millions of people today are HIV positive and have contracted AIDS. The fight against the epidemic is far from over. Every year, many celebrities and A-list stars gather for the amfAR gala to raise both money and awareness for AIDS research — and the gowns were insanely gorgeous.

Founded in 1983, amfAR is an international non-profit dedicated to raising money for AIDS research, HIV prevention, and more. This year, for its eleventh gala, the fundraiser was held at the Pacific Design Center in Los Angeles on Nov. 4 and honored fashion designer Jeremy Scott.

This year, they raised almost $2 million for HIV/AIDS research.

Stars like Paris Jackson, Alessandra Ambrosio, and Meg Ryan dazzled on the red carpet with their designer ensembles, showing their support for the noble cause.

Even Madonna made a brief appearance to present Jeremy Scott with the Award of Courage in recognition of his work with the organization and the fight against HIV/AIDS.

It was a night to remember, and luckily, there are plenty of photos of what A-listers rocked on the red carpet.

From nursery-rhyme-themed ensembles to Old Hollywood glamour, check out which celebrities made a stunning appearance at the amfAR gala.
