Salma Hayek, Serena Williams, & More Stars Had a Glamorous Date Night at Last Night’s LACMA Gala

Nothing is quite as magical as walking down a red carpet with the cameras flashing as you twirl in a designer gown. For a while — because of the COVID-19 pandemic — red carpet events seemed like a thing of the past. But now, they’re coming back in full swing. At Saturday night’s LACMA gala, celebs were out in full force on the red carpet — and star couples like Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanion and Salma Hayek and François Pinault who made a date night out of the evening really stole the show.

For the past decade, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, LACMA, has put on a star-studded gala called the LACMA ART+FILM Gala. On Nov. 6, A-list stars from all over came excitedly to the event, dressing from head to toe in glamourous gowns to honor legendary artists like Steven Spielberg, Kehinde Wiley, and Amy Sherald. One of the biggest themes of the evening was shining a light on the representation for Black artists and Black subjects in art.

Many stars, like Jodie Turner-Smith, Dakota Johnson, and Lil Nas X looked absolutely fabulous as they went solo to the event — showing their unwavering support for the arts. But star-studded couples who turned the gala into an extravagant date night were our absolute favorite — and we loved how happy they all looked.
