When you combine one of the best museums in the world with a star-studded entertainment benefit, you get magic — and some amazing photos of red carpet fashion. On Dec. 14, many A-list stars attended the 2021 Museum of Modern Art Film Benefit at the MoMA in New York City, specifically honoring Penelope Cruz for her amazing work in the film industry.
Cruz has had an impressive film career spanning over 30 years, gaining international recognition and an Oscar for her role in Vicky Cristina Barcelona. During her honoree speech, she said, “I would not be here tonight, being honored by MoMa, if I had not had the privilege of working with brilliant directors who have inspired me, taught me, helped me grow as an artist and as a person. I want to thank them all tonight, and especially my Pedro [Almodóvar].”
Other stars who have been honored in the past include George Clooney, Julianne Moore, and Quentin Tarantino, to name a few.
The MoMA film benefit, which was presented by Chanel, was a dazzling spectacle of gorgeous gowns, silk suits, and mega-watt smiles. So let’s take a look at all the stars who stunned on the red carpet at the 2021 MoMA film benefit, below.
