Nick Lachey just made a tidy profit on his Tarzana, California home that he and wife, Vanessa Lachey, bought at the end of 2020. They bought it for $5.1 million and have now flipped ownership to tennis great Naomi Osaka for $6.3 million — officially making this home one with a celebrity pedigree.
We understand why Osaka fell in love with this 6,855-square-foot property because each of the five bedrooms is essentially a primary suite with full bathrooms attached, plus two more bathrooms in the home for good measure. But it’s probably the backyard that sold the athlete because of its sweeping views of the San Fernando Valley and luxurious amenities that rival any resort: pool, sports court, bar, barbecue, outdoor living room, and a fire pit.
If the weather isn’t cooperating, Osaka can always head inside to the homey screening room to watch a movie or grab a bottle of wine from her wine cellar. The estate has everything she needs to just stay at home and relax, which is probably what she wants to do after a hectic tennis-touring schedule. Don’t miss that gorgeous sunset from her pool, and be sure to see more photos of the property at Dirt.
East Coast Traditional Architecture
A very classically designed home on the West Coast makes for a very comforting place to live.
Bright Kitchen
The open-floor plan allows for a conversational kitchen with tons of natural light flowing through.
Sophisticated Dining Room
We love a stylish wallpaper moment, which adds a touch of class to the glamorous room.
Cozy Screening Room
Every Los Angeles home must have a screening room, and the billowy couch and pillows make it an inviting place to watch a movie.
A Stunning Place to Relax
With gorgeous cathedral ceiling and a calming vibe, Osaka will get a good night’s rest in this room.
Primary Bathroom With Style
This home has plenty of fireplaces to enjoy whether she wants to take a quick shower or soak in the tub.
Perfect for Entertaining
This is the ideal spot to host a Super Bowl party with easy access to the outdoor activities.
Hot Conversation, Cool Nights
It does get cool in California, so the outdoor fireplace adds an additional living space to utilize during those chilly months.
A New Place to Practice
This is currently a basketball court, but we imagine Osaka will convert it to a tennis court so she can practice from home.
Magnificent Sunsets
The view of the stunning sunset from the pool area probably made this home an easy purchase for Osaka.
