Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne are on the move after living in the United States for the last 25 years. The couple is reportedly headed back to the U.K. permanently after Sharon joined the host roster at the daytime show, The Talk (not to be confused with the U.S. version she was fired from). Ozzy revealed to The Mirror that they are “a bit sad” to be leaving Los Angeles, but “the tax is getting too much.” The couple is open to a return only “if they do the taxes better.” (Do you hear that Governor Gavin Newsom?)
They listed the 11,565-square-foot Hancock Park home at a hefty $18 million, but the Mediterranean-style home is on one of the most coveted streets in the neighborhood and was fully renovated by the Osbournes after they purchased it in 2015. The residence boasts six bedrooms and nine bathrooms, plenty of room for their adult children Aimée, 38, Kelly, 37, and Jack, 36, to visit — along with their grandkids, too. The 1929-built home sits on just over half an acre and has fabulous backyard amenities for the new owner to enjoy.
The showstopper of the property is the primary suite, which is a complete home away from home within the estate. Sharon made sure every detail was tended to from the sitting room to the dual bathrooms, closets, and dressing areas — no one has to fight over space. Be sure to check out the stunning home with its surprisingly tasteful decor (it’s not the same home as their MTV days) — and see more of the property at Dirt.
Looks Are Deceiving
The pristine landscaping and clean lines of the home are deceiving because the interior is much more dramatic.
Diner Dining
Expect the unexpected in the Osbourne household! The kitchen has a banquette that also doubles as an island. It gives the feel of a casual diner experience.
Wood-Paneled Library
The formal living room offers walls of bookcases and a comfy place to gather for conversation and Netflix.
Ornate Hallway
The details in this home are impeccable, with rich hardwood floors, elaborate beam work, and multiple archways.
Massive Primary Suite
This is the sitting room in the primary suite, which features a fireplace and a dramatic chandelier above the couch.
It’s a Boutique
Sharon Osbourne made herself comfortable, establishing her territory for her jewelry, fashions, and accessories — it’s quite a spectacular place to house your wardrobe.
Shiny Bathtub
The room itself is quite relaxing, but we love the chrome soaking tub for a bit of Osbourne flair.
Rolling Out the Red Carpet
The all-red screening room is a state-of-the-art location to watch the latest flick with friends.
Lush Greenery
The best of Southern California living is the outdoor space, complete with a fireplace and lovely landscaping.
A Romantic Escape
The backyard is a lovely oasis to escape from frantic city living. The gardens and the pool offer a wonderful place to chill out after a long day.
