It’s that time again! No, it’s not the Oscars or the Grammys, it’s the legendary US Open Tennis Championships. And this championship is extra momentous because Serena Williams announced that she would be retiring after this one. So it’s safe to say that everyone has their eyes glued to the event (including a bunch of A-listers!)

First held in 1881, the US Open Tennis Championships have been dubbed the final Grand Slam tournament since 1987, making it one of the hardest events in the sport of tennis, per their website.

Since the 1970s, the US Open has been held at the prestigious USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows–Corona Park, Queens, NYC, and this year Billie Jean King was in attendance to talk about her first interaction with Williams! Now the event holds five primary championships, the men’s and women’s singles, men’s and women’s doubles, and mixed doubles. All of them are sights to see!

Now ever since Williams announced that it would be her last US Open, stars from all over have been arriving at the US Open in NYC to show their support. From Hugh Jackman to Vera Wang, so many have been eagerly watching every single move that happens at the event.

See all of the stars that arrived at the US Open events and tournaments below!
