If you grew up in the 1990s or 2000s, you probably waited patiently for the time Disney Channel would play all four Halloweentown movies in a row. Halloweentown follows the witchy adventures of a girl named Marnie Piper (played by Kimberly J. Brown) and her family.
In the first one, we see her and her siblings discover they’re witches. Then we see them go on more magical adventures as they grow older, from middle school to college. All four movies are available on Disney+, so it’s time for a little binge!

Calling all Tim Burton fans, our time is now! Suitable for both Christmas time and Halloween time, The Nightmare Before Christmas is a must. The classic animated film follows Jack, the Pumpkin King, who wants to redo Halloween with a more Christmassy vibe. (Hint: it doesn’t go great for him!)

Starring Tia and Tamera Mowry, Twitches is a go-to for Disney Halloween lovers. Twitches follow a pair of long-lost twin sisters who soon realize they’re witches from another world, a world they have to save from the darkness.

If you wanna cater a bit more to the youngsters in the household, you can’t go wrong with Disney’s Girl vs Monster. The TV movie follows a teen girl named Skylar Lewis who accidentally releases a dangerous monster that she now has to capture quickly.

Don’t Look Under The Bed is a classic spooky tale for Halloween, which revolves around a teen and her brother’s imaginary friend, who helps them deal with the bogeyman.

Speaking of magical schools, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children tells the story of Jake (Asa Butterfield), a young boy who finds himself in a magical place full of “peculiar” children including levitating Emma, pyrokinetic Olive and invisible Millard.
‘Coco’
Before you say anything, we know that Coco is not about Halloween. But if we’re speaking about the dead in Día de los Muertos on November 1st, we’re saying it counts, okay? This incredible movie follows the story of young boy Miguel as he embarks on a journey to the Land of the Dead to find his ancestors. It’s beautiful, captivating, emotional and so incredibly catchy.
‘The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad’
In The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad, two tales “The Wind In The Willows” and “The Legend Of Sleepy Hollow” come together to tell one fantastical story. The movie starts off with a wild car ride with J. Thaddeus Toad as he drives his friends Mole, Rat and Angus MacBadger into a worried frenzy and continues with Ichabod Crane, a spindly fellow who needs to fend off the town bully if he wants to sweep the beautiful Katrina Van Tassel off her feet.
