On Oct 27, the Women in Film organization hosted the WIF Honors: Forging Forward Gala which celebrated the women in the industry who are taking a stand and making a difference in gender equality and diversity.
The official description of the event reads, “Our annual benefit supports WIF’s educational and philanthropic programs and its advocacy for gender parity throughout the industry. This year’s WIF Honors will celebrate the women who are forging forward: laying the foundation to transform Hollywood for the better, with their ingenuity, vision, and persistence.”
Among the honorees of the event were Abbott Elementary creator Quinta Brunson, Don’t Worry Darling director Olivia Wilde, Look Both Ways star Lili Reinhart, Carey Mulligan, Jodi Kantor, and Megan Twohey for their work in She Said, an upcoming moving about The New York Times reporters who the story on the sexual abuse allegations against Harvey Weinstein.
The night also saw many other familiar faces as the event called for A-list presenters such as Viola Davis, Jane Fonda and Sheryl Lee Ralph. The host was Only Murders in the Building star Da’Vine Joy Randolph.

Olivia Wilde shook off the nanny drama on the red carpet, wearing this cool black gown with a triangular cutout at the middriff. Though you might not spot it in this picture, this dress also had a built-up futuristic hoodie.

Lake Bell and Olivia Wilde looked almost like twins in similar black long-sleeve cutout dresses. Instead of Wilde’s central cut, Bell’s figure-flattering cutout was on the side in additiion to the thigh-high slit.

Viola Davis shined bright in this orange and brown striped suit as a presenter at the event.
Quinta Brunson
Quinta Brunson is going for gold! After wearing a blue and gold gown to the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever premiere, Brunson bet on the color once again in this halter black and gold gown.
Da’Vine Joy Randolph
The hostess with the mostest, Da’Vine Joy Randolph hit the carpet looking sultry in this figure-flattering leather number. The vampy marroon lips are just perfection!
