There’s nothing holding Shawn Mendes back now that he’s a home owner in the sunny Beverly Grove area of Los Angeles. First reported by Dirt, the “Treat You Better” singer just bought a five-bedroom, six-bath home for a hefty price tag of $4.6 million.
Though the home was originally built in the ’70s, it was completely redesigned this year into a modern European-inspired home. Among the features that make this space unique is the cream-colored plaster, intricate stonework, and marble slabs throughout the structure. In some pictures, you could even mistake it for one of Kim Kardashian‘s minimalistic properties!
Another cool design aspect of the 6,200-square-foot home is its open layout in which the living, dining, and family room are all one cohesive space. In addition, custom steel and glass doors open up the home to the outside, making for an easy indoor/outdoor lifestyle.
Mendes’ new spot also has a two-car garage, lawn area decked out in Italian cypresses, a guesthouse, and a zero-edge swimming pool. The home was building by firm House of Shoor and was listed by agent Daniel Dahan.

Loving the Neutrals
From the walls and fireplace to the modern furniture, this home thrives in its use of a cohesive neutral color palette.
Clay It Up
In the kitchen, the hand-applied pleated French clay island is a showstopper.
Bringing the Outside In
All throughout the house, custom steel and glass doors allow the outside in, whether they’re open or not.
Bringing Italy to L.A.
Giving a greater sense of privacy and an Italian edge, the backyard is decorated in mature Italian cypresses. So unique!
