Kacey Musgraves has exited and ain’t coming back to her Nashville home. The Star-Crossed musician sold her 3,500-square foot Neoclassical Nashville home to fellow country star Kelsea Ballerini in what appears to be a private sale for a cool $2.5 million.
Musgraves first purchased the estate for $1.9 million from designer Louisa Pierce in 2019 and transformed it into a minimalist, country haven — which sounds just like what Ballerini needs, as the country singer announced her separation from husband Morgan Evans in August 2022. The estate is tucked away in a secluded, wooded area, which makes it perfect for anyone looking for a bit of privacy like Musgraves was following her divorce from Ruston Kelly.
The serene house features a mostly neutral palette, save for the “music room” which is a perfect Golden Hour dusty rose. And with a saltwater pool with an inset spa, outdoor dining patios, and a detached guest house, this serene Nashville home is perfect for entertaining or contemplating some new lyrics. Total Privacy
The spacious Neoclassical 3,500-square foot home is tucked away in a wooded area. A long driveway leads up to the house, giving its residents total privacy.
Plenty of Natural Light
The home boasts floor-to-ceiling windows throughout, giving the Neoclassical house a bright and airy feeling. When Musgraves first moved in, the home featured much brighter colors, but she opted for more neutral tones to keep the space serene.
A Dusty Rose Music Space
Ballerini should feel right at home in the dusty rose music room that Musgraves designed. According to Architectual Digest, the color was inspired by a candle Musgraves created with fragrance brand Boy Smells. “It’s a perfect balance of masculane and feminine,” Musgraves said of the hue.
A Serene Saltwater Oasis
Surrounded by trees, the home’s saltwater pool has an inset spa and plenty of al fresco dining areas to simply lounge in or for entertaining. There is also a detached guest house.
