Helena Christensen, Jessica Chastain & More Stars Who Rocked Showstopping Looks at the 2022 MoMA Film Benefit

Celebrities from all over gathered on Dec 8 at New York City’s Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) to honor one of the today’s greatest directors: Guillermo del Toro. If you think you recognize the name but aren’t too sure, here’s a list of his most famous movies: The Shape of Water, Nightmare Alley, Pacific Rim, Pan’s Labyrinth, among many others.

According to the official description of the event, the night honored the two-time Oscar nominee and even gave an exclusive preview of Guillermo del Toro’s first MoMA exhibition, Guillermo del Toro: Crafting Pinocchio.

“Now in its 15th year, the MoMA Film Benefit raises money for the acquisition and preservation of key film works, and provides funding to support the Museum’s groundbreaking film exhibitions,” the explainer reads. “In celebration of this cause, the evening honors an individual for their significant impact on the film industry.”

Joining in to honor Toro were many of his former coworkers and fellow industry friends including Jessica Chastain, who worked with Toro in Crimson Peak, Oscar Isaac, Ariana DeBose, Chloë Sevigny, among others.
