Rihanna, Angela Bassett & More ‘Black Panther’ Stars Who Rocked the 2023 Golden Globe Red Carpet

After years of preparing, filming, waiting and doing press, the cast of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is finally reaping the rewards! At the 2023 Golden Globe Awards, stars of the blockbuster movie rocked the carpet to celebrate the movie’s success.

In fact, the movie received two nominations in this year’s awards: Best Supporting Actress – Motion Picture for Angela Bassett and Best Song – Motion Picture for “Lift Me Up,” a song by Rihanna, Ryan Coogler, Ludwig Göransson and Tems.

Among the Black Panther stars that turned heads at the event were Bassett, Rihanna herself, Letitia Wright and the movie’s director Ryan Coogler.

Talking to Variety‘s Digital Pre-Show, Wright talked about how the cast will celebrate tonight as well as honor the memory of their late costar Chadwick Boseman. “We’re nominated for many awards, one of them being Best Supporting actress for Angela Bassett and that’s just a reflection of the hard work we put into it, the dedication to the story, to our characters and we honor him by just celebrating tonight,” she said.
