Just when we’re winding down from the hectic night that was the Golden Globes, we get another, quite wholesome awards show that’s unlike many others that are on the road to the Oscars. Held on Jan 13, a bunch of stars and executives arrived in style for the American Film Institute Awards, with many arriving in showstopping looks.
But before we get to the killer outfits, let’s talk about the unique award show. The American Film Institute Awards, or AFI Awards, has been held since 2000 to honor the best in filmmaking over the years, more specifically, the top 10 films and TV shows of the year. Unlike many award shows, everyone not only leaves a winner after coming, but no one has to pay for a seat for the luncheon. This award show is all about honoring the best!
From creators like Steven Spielberg and James Cameron to Quinta Brunson, from A-list stars like Keke Palmer and Michelle Yeoh to Viola Davis, this luncheon was packed with our favorite celebrities.
While everyone looked as chic as can be, we especially loved Patricia Arquette’s showstopping copper look, Viola Davis’ vibrant suit, and more. There were a lot of amazing looks, and we have the entire recap ready for those that missed it.
