Kate Hudson, Natasha Lyonne & More Stars Who Rocked the Red Carpet at the ‘Poker Face’ Premiere

In Peacock’s upcoming series Poker Face, Emmy-winning actressNatasha Lyonne plays Charlie Cale, a woman who has the uncanny ability to always tell when someone’s lying. “I can just tell,” Charlie says in the trailer, adding that there’s “there’s nothing mystical” about her skill. In the 10-episode series, which airs on the streaming platform on Jan, 26, “She hits the road with her Plymouth Barracuda and with every stop encounters a new cast of characters and strange crimes she can’t help but solve,” reads the official synopsis.

Lyonne stars in Poker Face alongside a cast of familiar faces, including Adrien Brody, Jameela Jamil, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Judith Light, Luis Guzmán, Simon Helberg, Stephanie Hsu, and more. The series is directed by Knives Out director Rian Johnson and co-executive produced by SNL alum Maya Rudolph.

In the show’s big premiere on Jan. 17 at the Hollywood Legion Theater, stars of the series (along with a bevy of A-list supporters) joined to celebrate the upcoming release.

The Poker Face red carpet was then followed by a screening of the first episode of the season, titled “Dead Man’s Hand,” per TV Insider. In addition to the fun of watching the episode, guests then let loose at an after-party which included a lie detector station, billiards room, and a game of b**** for guests to test their skills of deception.

Among the night’s best looks were Lyonne’s very own red peplum look, Rudolph’s mixed patterns ensemble, and Colton Ryan’s painted green suit.
