Not only are we on the road to the Oscars, with award shows happening nearly every other week, but we’re back to festival season. From the Toronto Film Festival to the Venice Film Festival, one of entertainment’s favorite times of the year is back and better than ever. To kick off 2023, the largest independent film festival is back in full swing: the Sundance Film Festival.
Founded back in 1978 as the Utah/US Film Festival, this event is all about showcasing new work from independent filmmakers, with the cast and crew arriving at the premieres. So many happen in one day, and along with that, there are panels, esteemed shows within, designer events, and more. And this year may be one of the most star-studded Sundance Festivals in a while.
From Jan 19 to 29, many of our favorite stars are arriving in style at the festival. Now, while most red-carpet events we cover show people in some pretty extravagant gowns and colorful suits, some A-list-packed events just don’t call for that. And we love the more chic and casual dress code events just as much!
Check out all the stars and their casually cool looks from this year’s Sundance Film Festival below!
