All of Dolly Parton’s Most Stunning, Glittery Grammy Fashion Moments

Dolly Parton‘s history with the Grammys goes back more than 50 years. In fact, the “Jolene” singer was first nominated for the prestigious award in 1970 at the 12th Annual Grammy Award for her work on “Just Someone I Used To Know” with Porter Wagoner. Since then, Parton has garnered the second-most amount of Grammy nominations ever, losing only to Beyoncé. Among her whopping 53 nominations, she’s won an impressive 10 awards.

“It’s always special,” Parton told the Associated Press of her nomination record. “You always love to be acknowledged.” She continued, “Like I’ve always said, ‘I don’t work for awards and rewards.’”

This year, unsurprisingly, Parton is up for nominations yet again. At 2023’s 46th Annual Grammy Awards, the country legend is in the running for two categories: Best Country Duo/Group Performance for “Does He Love You – Revisited” and Best American Roots Performance for “Someday It’ll All Make Sense (Bluegrass Version).”

As her collection of nominations keeps on growing year after year, Parton’s fashionable looks continue to steal the show each time. From her pink and white bedazzled look at the 1977 award show to her most recent performance look at the 2019 show with goddaughter Miley Cyrus, Parton’s glam outfits always light up the Grammy stage or red carpet.
