The upcoming movie 80 for Brady will be unlike any other. In addition to its star-studded cast including Jane Fonda, Sally Field, Lily Tomlin, and Rita Moreno, the movie will also see big names who are non-actors (including Tom Brady himself and Rob Gronkowski) making an appearance.
80 for Brady is inspired by the true story of four best friends living life to the fullest when they take a wild trip to the 2017 Super Bowl to see their hero Tom Brady play,” the official synopsis reads.
Talking to People on Feb 1, Field revealed what makes this movie so special. “I have avoided some other films that are groups of ladies because I have certain feelings that women are about so much more than just looking for a date or who’s my next husband,” she admitted. “Or even trying to fix it with your husband and sharing that with your girlfriends. I just have the feeling that women are about a lot more.”
In this movie, as football fanatics, the four main women are indeed much more. “This movie struck me because it was what I’d been saying,” she said. “Let it be that women are showing a different side of themselves.”
