While the Grammys have come, gone, and left Twitter ablaze, that doesn’t mean the red-carpet moments are done for the music industry. In fact, we have quite a bit more huge events coming up, and one of the biggest is happening right now. On Feb. 11, stars from all over arrived at the O2 Arena in London for the UK’s biggest night in music: the BRIT Awards (also known as the BRITS).
Ever since 1977 (when it was known as The British Record Industry Britannia Awards), the BRIT awards honor those who excel in the music industry, especially within the past year. Hosted by British comedian Mo Gilligan and with performances set by Lizzo, along with Sam Smith and Kim Petras, you know this night is going to be one no one will forget any time soon. Now, if you’re currently not in the UK to watch it live, don’t fret because it’s streaming internationally via YouTube!
But until those performances, let’s talk about the red carpet fashion. Trust us when we say this red carpet is unlike any you’ve seen in a while. From head-turning black looks from Grammy-winning stars like Harry Styles and Sam Smith, to more subtle, vibrant gowns like Shania Twain’s, this red carpet really saw some insanely cool looks.
