Entering the Marvel cinematic universe back in 2015, the Ant-Man movies have won big, both in acclaim and at the box office. Most recently, the third movie, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, was released in theaters on Feb 17 after many premieres around the world with the movie’s star-studded cast.
Among the stars of the sequel are Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Evangeline Lilly as the Wasp, Michael Douglas as Dr. Hank Pym, Jonathan Majors as Kang The Conqueror and Kathryn Newton as Cassie Lang.
During one of the premieres, Douglas opened up about what excited him most about coming back for this film. “Seeing the people I worked with so long ago,” he told ExtraTV alongside his wife Catherine Zeta-Jones and son Dylan. He also loves his role, too. “It’s nice being the smartest guy on the planet and it’s nice being a senior guy because I don’t have to do all the action,” he added.
Zeta-Jones, who has attended many of the premieres in support of her husband said she’s “always proud” of Douglas. “I mean, Michael’s career it’s been so amazingly varied and I think with Ant-Man it’s an amazing new generation of people and kids who are growing up with him as they watch the movies and it’s only great because they go revisit Michael’s movies and television and everything before,” Zeta-Jones told ExtraTV.
