Heidi Klum, Olivia Rodrigo & More Stars Who Dazzled at the 2023 Billboard Women in Music Awards

On March 1, singers from just about every genre gathered at the star-studded Billboard Women in Music Awards, which recognizes artists, creators, producers, and executives.

During the long-awaited event, hosted by Abbott Elementary‘sQuinta Brunson, the biggest names in music were honored with prizes. “Kill Bill” singer SZA won the coveted Woman of the Year Award, Lana Del Rey nabbed the Visionary Award, and Rosalía took home the Producer of the Year Award. Artists Becky G, Doechii, Ivy Queen, Kim Petras, Latto, Lainey Wilson, and TWICE also received honors.

When SZA accepted her award, she spoke movingly about the significance of the moment. “I used to feel like I didn’t belong, but I realized that the key is to stay open and available for whatever the universe or God wants to do with your life,” she said, per Billboard. “I really just want my life to be more than music, to be more than an artist. I want to serve others, I want to serve people, I want to be open and available for whatever God wants for me, and saying yes to everything that’s scary, to everything that feels like it’s not for you or where you don’t belong, is really the only way where we walk through those doors.”

“You just have to say yes to the possibility,” she concluded, “and thank y’all for saying yes to me.”
