After selling the lavish L.A. compound he once lived in with ex-wife Angelina Jolie and their kids for $33 million, Brad Pitt is making sure he’s not out of a place to stay in L.A. The actor bought a gorgeous midcentury home in the neighborhood of Los Feliz which is, understandably, much smaller and had a significantly lower price tag ($5.5 million), Dirt reports.
Pitt’s new abode, built in 1960, is a 2,000-square-foot property almost entirely encased in glass. Today, despite the many restorations since the build, the home is still pays homage to the cool and fun style of the ’60s.
Main features of the home include a unique white fireplace in between the living and dining rooms, and a cozy terrace with an incredible view. The home, which has three bedrooms and 1.75 bathrooms, also includes a spacious master bedroom with a unique mint-colored walk-in closet and two other bedrooms with their signature cobalt blue carpeting.
As for the outside area, the house wraps itself around a pool and patio area perfect for tanning. Another bonus: a redwood hot tub and a freestanding sauna building. Talk about a dream home!
