Right when you think red carpet season is in hibernation, it comes back with a whammy! On April 26, hundreds of guests arrived in style at the 2023 Time100 Gala at the Lincoln Center in New York City. From scientists to Oscar-winning actors, this red carpet was packed to the brim with prestige!
Hosted by Jennifer Coolidge, so many stars were honored for their influence like Salma Hayek, Padma Lakshmi, Lea Michele, Kim Kardashian, Ali Wong, Angela Bassett, and more! (Those were only a few of the entertainment-based honorees!)
Coolidge even remarked on how diverse the honorees were this year, saying, “We have Ed Reynolds here tonight. “He’s literally deflecting asteroids to protect our planet. I just think that’s so sexy. We have MrBeast, who helped 1,000 blind people to see for the first time. And then there’s me, who drowned on TV.”
She added, “But we’re all being honored tonight for our influence, and we all earned that honor.”
For those that don’t know, the Time 100 Gala is the celebration of the Time 100 list, which honors the “100 most influential people,” per TIME. Along with first being published in 1999, the gala has been held annually since 2004, making it one of the most esteemed galas in Tinseltown!
Now, we need to mention the red-carpet fashion: it was truly fabulous. From deliciously dark looks to daring gowns, this red carpet was the definition of can’t-miss style! Check out the best-dressed A-listers from this year’s Time 100 gala red carpet below!
