Over the years, members of the British royal family have impressed us with their many talents. And though many of them are required for the job, like walking effortlessly in heels or having incredible public speaking skills for speeches, some of their talents are kept a little hidden.
At the 2023 Eurovision song contest, for example, Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, shocked viewers when she showed off her musical talents by playing the piano with the Kalush Orchestra. A few months earlier, it was Prince George‘s time to show off his hidden talent when he shared the impressive painting he made for Christmas. Talk about a talented family!
And though each member of the royal family has their own set of skills, like Sarah Ferguson’s extensive career as an author, there’s one hobby many of the royals have adhered to over the years: gardening. King Charles III, for example, has long been a fan of gardening, calling it “the most therapeutic business” during an appearance at the Gardeners’ Question Time, per . Over the years, in addition to planting trees and championing the environment like the rest of the royal family, Charles also ran his 900-acre Gloucestershire retreat in Highgrove House.
So, in honor of Charles’ not-so-hidden talent, check out all the times the royals showed off their green thumbs below!
