All the Best Photos from the 2023 Trooping the Colour Parade

Once again, everything about the royals has flooded out timelines and news boards — but this time, it has nothing to do with the royal feud.

On Saturday, June 17, thousands of people in the UK gathered to celebrate this year’s Trooping the Colour parade. You’ve probably heard about the Trooping the Colour ceremony when discussing the royals, and for those that don’t know, it’s a military parade.

Now this specific Trooping the Colour just so happens to be extra special this year for two reasons. Not only is it the first Trooping the Colour to happen since King Charles III started his reign, but it’s also to celebrate Charles’ 75th birthday.

Despite the Sussexes Prince Harry and Meghan Markle not being invited (and the snub causing a wave of controversy), a bunch of the members of the royal family have come all out to celebrate.

Many were excited to hear all the details beforehand, along with hearing about if Kate Middleton would be in a military uniform since she got her new title from Prince William. Along with people being excited about what the Princess of Wales would wear, everyone wanted to know what traditions Charles would uphold — and now we know all the unique details of the long-awaited event.

From those beloved (and now somewhat controversial) balcony snapshots to adorable moments from Kate and William’s kids, we got all the best moments here.
