After rising to fame in the first two seasons of Real Housewives of New Jersey back in 2009, Dina Cantin is making a major real estate move miles away from the state she once called home. According to Dirt, the former reality star and her husband, automotive industry mogul Dave Cantin, have recently purchased a beautiful new home in Montecito, California, for $15.9 million. That’s right, the Cantins will now be neighbors to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, Oprah Winfrey, Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi, among many others.
As for the home itself, the Tuscan villa-inspired property is fit for the cover of a magazine after being totally redesigned by acclaimed architect Marc Appleton in the previous owner’s short tenure. The 6,000-square-foot house, which has five bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms, features elegantly designed spaces including a living room and family room with glass-and-steel French doors that open up to the outside. In the kitchen, the key is in the details with designer appliances and a built-in banquette to entertain guests with plenty of space for them to sit.
In the master bedroom, the Cantins will have the ultimate oasis with a fireplace, private balcony, marble bathroom, two closets and an ensuite room that could also be a glam room, office, or additional bedroom.
Outdoors, a shaded fire-pit seating area is perfect for entertaining while a secluded pool and spa area is perfect for romantic date nights between the olive trees.
