Halloween is the time for all things spooky, from trick-or-treating deals to, of course, the spooky movies. No Halloween season is complete without the movies! While we always got our favorite VHS tapes lined up when we were kiddos, we’re now in the era of streaming.
Not only are there a bunch of Halloween movies on Disney+ and horror films galore on Hulu for Huluween, but we can’t forget about all the bone-chilling goodies on AppleTV+.
While most of the films on this list are for rent through AppleTV+ (along with literally hundreds more), you can still view classics like It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, along with spooky AppleTV+ original series when you subscribe to the streaming service.

Mama
Mamais all about this couple who take in their two nieces after they went missing five years prior. While they try to reassimilate them to normal life, they suspect a supernatural entity named Mama won’t let the nieces go.
Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark
Is it really a Halloween-themed movie binge if Guillermo del Toro isn’t involved?! He co-wrote the 2010 film Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark, and it follows a couple’s niece who accidentally unleash monsters from a sealed ash pit in the basement. It’s fantastical, it’s spooky, it’s totally Halloween-y.

For people who love everything paranormal, you can’t go wrong with a film based on the most haunted house in England.

A good indie horror film is hard to find, but a House on the Bayou delivers. Full of twists and turns, it follows a couple on the brink of divorce and their daughter, whose lives are turned upside down when unexpected visitors join in on their vacation.

If you’re looking for something a little more mystery-based and zany, then look no further than the 1985 classic Clue, which, let’s face it, is a top-tier board game. There’s been a Murder, and everyone is a suspect!
Beetlejuice
No Halloween movie list is complete without at least one Tim Burton film, and Beetlejuice is an all-time favorite for a reason. it’s got horror, It’s got comedy, and it has Wynona Rider rocking the iconic gothic bangs. For those who don’t know, Beetlejuice follows a pair of new ghosts trying to get people out of their house, and they later invoke the help of a mischievous ghost named Beetlejuice.
