For the 17th year in a row, Glamour magazine celebrated their “favorite feminist heroes and game-changers” at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards on Oct 17. The night, which was hosted by comedian and The Duchess star Katherine Ryan, honored a long list of our favorite celebrities including Barbie starAmerica Ferrera, who won the Global honoree & UK Impact Award,Ted Lasso star Hannah Waddingham, who won the Entertainer of the Year Award and Little Mix alum Leigh-Anne Pinnock who won the Musician of the Year Award.
“We have grown up learning to speak the language of men, but now the time has come for them to learn the language of women,” Waddingham, who just recently confirmed her Apple TV+ Christmas Special titled Hannah Waddingham: Home for Christmas, said in her acceptance speech, per Glamour. “It’s very simple, and we have to choose to hold each other up. We have to choose to have each other’s backs.”
