After two years of back to back movies centering on the lives of Elvis and Priscilla Presley, the many already-iconic photos of the couple have been burned into our memories. With her dazzling eyes and signature style, Priscilla is as recognizable now as she was in the earliest days of her fame as the wife of one of the most famous musicians in history.
Played by Olivia DeJonge in Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis and Cailee Spaeny in Sofia Coppola’s Priscilla, Priscilla’s iconic look has been recreated to critical acclaim but we never had to look too far to find a modern day Priscilla in our midsts.
Priscilla’s granddaughter Riley Keough has forged a path for herself in the film and TV industry with a signature style that is uniquely. You won’t see her with the dark eyeliner or teased hair that her grandmother is most known for but nevertheless, the two women look uncannily similar — as did Priscilla and Elvis’ only daughter, Keough’s late mother Lisa Maria Presley.
Priscilla and her granddaughter have had a difficult year after battling it out in court over the inheritance of Elvis’s famous Tennessee home, Graceland — which was passed down to Keough after her mom’s death despite Priscilla’s attempts to contest Lisa Marie’s will.
However, Keough has insisted that there will always be nothing but love between her and her grandmother.
As they say, blood is thicker than water and, for these two, there is no denying their bond — or their strikingly similar features. Keep scrolling to see all the time Riley Keough and Priscilla Presley looked beautifully similar.
The Signature Priscilla Pout
Keough looks the spitting image of her grandmother in this photo taken during the promotion of her 2020 film Zola.
Here a blonde Priscilla steps out in an all black look in 1989, the same year Keough was born!
All in the Eyes
We don’t know about you but to us, Keough and Priscilla have the same striking blue eyes and face shape.
In a September cover story for Vanity Fair, Keough put rumors of a rift with her grandmother to bed.
“She’s a beautiful woman, and she was a huge part of creating my grandfather’s legacy and Graceland. It’s very important to her,” she said. “He was the love of her life. Anything that would suggest otherwise in the press makes me sad because, at the end of the day, all she wants is to love and protect Graceland and the Presley family and the legacy. That’s her whole life. So it’s a big responsibility she has tried to take on. None of that stuff has really ever been a part of our relationship prior. She’s just been my grandma.”
A Blonde Moment
At the Met Gala in 2018, we couldn’t help but notice the similarities between Keough and her grandmother’s early 2000s look when she was rocking these blonde and brunette hightlights in her cropped hair.
Like Grandma, Like Granddaughter
When Keough dyed her hair for her role in Daisy Jones and the Six, she inadvertently channelled her famous grandmother’s natural hair color.
Though Priscilla is best known for her dyed black hair during her marriage to Elvis, she started rocking her natural hair in the 80s and we love it.
Stunning Smiles
We love how much these two look alike when they’re just smiling and relaxed.
Here Priscilla is all smiles in 1979 and 44 years later, her granddaughter has many of the same features.
Fiery Redheads
Since the 90s, Priscilla has rocked a vibrant red hair color that isn’t too dissimilar to Keough’s copper locks in this photo.
