When former US President Donald Trump ran for office, the A-list world more or less cut out the Trump family. They were uninvited from prestigious events like the Met Gala, and many friends dropped them because they didn’t agree politically.
However, quite a few surprising celebrities kept their bond with the Trumps. Not only has Ivanka Trump stayed buddies with Kim Kardashian and Hugh Jackman, but Donald has remained close with numerous well-known athletes (one of whom almost dated Ivanka).

According to insiders from The Messenger via MSN, Ivanka Trump and Karlie Kloss have allegedly been hanging out a bunch ever since Ivanka decided to step down from politics. They said, “Ivanka and Jared hang out frequently with Karlie and Joshua at events and family gatherings.”
For years prior, the sisters-in-law seemed to have been feuding, with Kloss making subtweets at Ivanka and lack of dual support. But they’ve seemed to have bonded in recent years.
Kim Kardashian
When Ivanka Trump arrived at Kim Kardashian’s birthday bash in 2023, their unexpected friendship made headlines everywhere. They first became friends after connecting at the 2014 Met Gala, and their friendship strengthened even more when Kardashian got into law (and, of course, their kids have had a few playdates).
Hugh Jackman
Did you know Ivanka Trump has buddies with Hugh Jackman and his ex-wife Deborra-Lee Furness for decades now? In a previous interview with The View in 2018 via Vanity Fair, Jackman even talked about his friendship with Ivanka, and defended it.
“People question, ‘Really?’ And I’m kinda like, ‘OK, let’s say your friends of [20 years’] father became president,” he said. “Whether you agree with the politics or not, do you just dump your friends? I’m like, ‘no, no you don’t.’ I don’t understand that.”
Queen Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan
It’s been reported that Ivanka Trump and Queen Rania have been pals for years, after Ivana hosted Rania at Trump Tower in 2017. Years later, Rania invited her to her son, Crown Prince Hussein’s wedding to Princess Rajwa in the summer of 2023.
Princess Eugenie of York
Not much is known about this friendship, but it seems Princess Eugenie and Ivanka Trump may be pals. But we do know that when Eugenie announced the birth of her second son on social media, Ivanka liked the post.

One friendship you may or may not be shocked to hear about is between Tom Brady and Donald Trump. Brady briefly talked about their friendship, saying he separates politics from friendship. He told USA Today that he’s “always had a good time,” and at one point, he almost dated his eldest daughter Ivanka Trump.
Kanye West
One friendship you probably won’t be shocked to hear about is with Donald Trump and one of his most outspoken celebrity supporters Kanye West. While some thought it was just a political friendship, Trump did say to the press, per Business Insider, that they’re “just friends, just friends. He’s a good man, doing well. We’ve been friends for a long time.”

Tiffany Trump’s inner circle is small and close-knit, and one of her closest friends for years has been socialite Karen Shiboleth.
