As always, the annual Emmy Awards sees the best and brightest stars TV has to offer. From the stars of The Bear and Succession to the hilarious actors from Abbott Elementary, tonight’s awards show will see all the stars who took over the small screen throughout the past year.
But, in addition to seeing tonight’s lucky winners take the stage and deliver some touching acceptance speeches, one recurring theme will make tonight a night to remember: cast reunions! In an almost record-breaking number, casts from fan-loved shows, including Grey’s Anatomy, Ally McBeal, and The Sopranos, all reunited on the stage tonight. Talk about dreams come true!

Grey’s Anatomy
Stars Chandra Wilson, Justin Chambers, Ellen Pompeo, Katherine Heigl and James Pickens Jr. reunited to present the award for outstanding supporting actor in a limited or anthology series or movie to Blackbird star Paul Walter Hauser.
The Sopranos
Lorraine Bracco and Michael Imperioli shared an emotional tribute in celebration of 25 years of the iconic show.
“2024 marks the 25th anniversary of this series that Lorraine and I were so fortunate to be a part of,” Imperioli said of the show.
Bracco then got emotional as she mentioned Tony Soprano himself, the late James Gandolfini.
“And speaking for Michael, myself and the entire cast and crew, it was an honor working with Sopranos creator David Chase and of course the great James Gandolfini.”
Weekend Update
Tina Fey and Amy Poehler recreated a hilarious segment of SNL’s Weekend Update with many quippy jokes about the nights festivities.
Martin
Martin Lawrence reunited with his former Martin costars Tisha Campbell, Carl Anthony Payne II, and Tichina Arnold in a set that replicated the sitting room from the hit show.
The group then presented an Emmy to The Bear’s Jeremy Allen White.
It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia
Does it count if the show is still running? We had to give a shoutout to Charlie Day, Glenn Howerton, Rob McElhenney, Kaitlin Olson and Danny DeVito for finally getting their moment on stage at the Emmys!
Cheers
The cast of Cheers Ted Danson, Rhea Perlman, Kelsey Grammer, John Ratzenberger, George Wendt took to the stage in a recreation of their famous set.
Ally McBeal
Calista Flockhart and costars Greg Germann, Peter MacNicol and Gil Bellows turned the Emmys stage into the office for the Cage and Fish law firm and even performed a little dance routine.
The group then presented Lead Actor in a Drama Series to Succession’s Kieran Culkin.
All in the Family
Rob Reiner and Sally Struthers paid tribute to legendary producer Norman Lear and other stars lost since the last Emmys.
Struthers said: “Tonight, as we remember the legends of our industry we lost this past year, we celebrate their lives and legacy and the joy they brought to us. So to all of the members of all of our television families who have passed on…”
Then, in unison with Reiner, she concluded, “Those were the days.”
