More often than you think, Hollywood and the Royals end up mixing together ( and we’re not just talking about how Prince Harry and Meghan Markle moved to California and started working for big studios). No, we’re talking about how some a-listers end up being really close with a British royal family, and not just because they were honored with some sort of achievement by the family. While quite a few may come to mind, we’re going to talk about one that keeps coming up over and over again in recent years: Tom Cruise.
Every few months, we get a story about Cruise doing something with the British royal family, such as taking part in their Royal events or hanging out with them at red-carpet premieres. We all remember when he was close with Kate Middleton and Prince William at the premiere of Top Gun: Maverick, but his ties go a lot deeper than you may think.
For instance, Cruise met Princess Diana and even attended her funeral, and he had close relations with two royal family members who recently passed on. When you look at the timeline of how much he has had to do with the Royal family, it adds up and it raises so many questions like, “What do they talk about?” or “Is Cruise actually super close with the Royal Family?” while we don’t know every single thing that they talk about, we do know quite a few tidbits, and we can answer the question of “Is he friends with the British royal family?”
After news came forward of him reportedly angling to get a Knighthood in so many different ways, people have noticed quite a few times where he played a part in social Royal affairs.
Don’t believe us? Below, check out all of Cruise’s ties to the British royal family.
