For years, fans of Succession religiously tuned into the show to find out the fate of their beloved characters like Shiv Roy (Sarah Snook), Kendall Roy (Jeremy Strong), Roman Roy (Kieran Culkin), Tom Wambsgams (Matthew Macfadyen), and many others. And while the end of the show has brought so many fans to tears, this year’s awards season has given the tight-knit cast their last hurrah.
After all, in addition to sweeping awards in the top categories, like winning Best Drama Series at the 2024 Critics Choice Awards and

“Thank you for loving the show as much as we did as a cast making it,” Snook, who plays Shiv in the series, said as she accepted the award for Lead Actress in a Drama Series at the 75th Emmy Awards. “We all put our all into it, and the bar was set so high and I think that’s what spurred us on. We all gave it our best.”
So, in honor of the SAG Awards this weekend, in which the show will surely snag at least a few wins from its five nominations, we’ve compiled a list of all the times (and all the photos) the cast has shown the world how wild they are, be it for good or bad!
Here Are the Succession Cast’s Best Moments
Winning Glory
After winning the awards for Best Actor and Best Actress in a Drama Series at the Emmy Awards, Kieran Culkin and Sarah Snook posed is far from a normal way in the press room. Culkin was feeling the moment!
Another Dysfunctional Group Photo
At the season 4 premiere, the cast of the show all joined for a group photo. Culkin, however, didn’t join the standard line and made a hilarious pose in front of everyone instead. Culkin’s co-star Juliana Canfield joined in on the silliness.
Press Room Antics
In another double win, Snook and Culkin won the awards for Best Actress and Best Actor in a Drama Series Award at the 29th Annual Critics Choice Awards. In the press room, Culkin appeared to want to steal Snook’s award, kicking and all!
Time for a Smooch
In another moment that night, Snook and Culkin’s co-star Nicholas Braun made the entire press room laugh as he held up two of their awards for a kiss.
Braun & His Prize
Braun then continued the hijinks by pointing his Critics Choice Award for Best Drama Series to the crowd as if it were a gun. We just love how confused Matthew Macfadyen looks in the back!
Snook’s Pregnancy Reveal
In another wild moment from the cast, Snook revealed to her co-stars that she was pregnant in quite an unexpected way. It all started when she was filming an intense scene with her onscreen husband McFayden that ends with his character Tom telling Shiv that she’s “not a good person to have children,” per Variety.
After filming the scene over and over, however, Snook started to take the line personally and prepared herself to tell the cast. “When I hear that line, ‘Maybe you’re not going to be a good mom’ — maybe that’s me hearing it, just as much as it is Shiv,” Snook admitted. “Because that’s a pretty horrible thing to say to somebody!” That night, after a day of their scream match, Snook told the crew that she was pregnant.
Press Room Face-Off
At the 2024 Golden Globe Awards, following Macfayden’s win for Best Supporting Actor, Culkin started a hilarious press room face-off between his co-stars. “I have a question — who is the tallest in the cast?” Culkin asked Macfadyen, who then said it was himself. Soon enough, Nicholas Braun, aka Cousin Greg, stood in front of the stage to confront his cast mate, saying, “Dude!”
“I just said I was the tallest because I thought you were outside,” Macfadyen told Braun. “You’re not taller than me,” Braun responded. “We’re a similar height,” Macfadyen quipped back before he eventually conceded, “Nick’s taller than me.”
We’re here wondering how many times this back-and-forth happens on set!
Cheers to Me
Much like his character, Kieran Culkin knows how to have fun, and even clincked his glass with his award for Best Ensemble in a Drama Series at the 2022 Screen Actors Guild Awards.
Just Like Family
While Jeremy Strong may not attend every event, the cast always manages to pack on some PDA with each other, with or without Strong!
Kieran Takes Center Stage
At the HBO after-party following the 2020 Golden Globes, Culkin once again made the group photo anything-but-boring alongside Brian Cox, Succession writer Jesse Armstrong, Alan Ruck and Snook.
Fatherly Love
While Culkin and Brian Cox play father and son onscreen, the two have developed a supportive friendship behind the scenes. At the most recent Emmy Awards, for example, the two made fans and viewers do a double-take when they shared a sweet kiss after Culkin won his award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series.
The Jeremy Strong Wild Card
Over the years, while the cast has shown time and time again how close they are, Strong, and his notorious Method acting, has made him quite a wild card.
“The thing about Jeremy’s approach is it works in terms of what comes out the other end,” Cox said during an appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers, per Us Weekly. “I don’t have a problem with Jeremy because he’s delightful. He’s an extraordinary dad. He’s a pretty unique individual. But he does get obsessed with the work. And I worry about what it does to him, because if you can’t separate yourself — because you’re dealing with all of this material every day. You can’t live in it. Eventually, you get worn out.”
Despite the criticism, and a specially unflattering profile in the New Yorker, Strong continued his Method acting ways. “At the end of the day, it’s quite simple,” Strong told Vanity Fair. “You do all this stuff so that you can work as unconsciously as possible. When you’re working on the frontier of your unconscious, I think good work is possible. There’s really not much you can say about that because it’s your unconscious. All that stuff, I have to treat it as vapor and mist. It’s not really relevant to the work.”
All for PDA
Speaking of kisses with Culkin, J. Smith Cameron, who has intense chemistry with Culkin on the show, also shared a smooch with the actor on the Emmys red carpet.
