On Monday, May 6, the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York were taken over with florals, dramatic trains, sequins and some feather as A-listers made their way inside fashion’s biggest night of the year.
The theme for the evening was “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,” which is the title of the Costume Institute’s newest exhibit at the Met. To celebrate the theme, the 2024 Met Gala dress code was “The Garden of Time,” which welcomed many stunning nature references and plenty of archival looks.
Zendaya, Jennifer Lopez, Jessica Biel and Sarah Jessica Parker were just some of our best dressed stars. Our A-listers like Cardi B, Lana del Rey and Doja Cat offered up majorly head-turning looks that certainly caused a stir on the red carpet.
