Kristen Wiig, Mariska Hargitay & More Stars Who Attended the First-Ever Gotham TV Awards in Style

If you’re a fan of star-studded red carpets and awards shows like us, then you probably know all about the Gotham Awards, an annual awards show celebrating the best and brightest talents in the movie business held by The Gotham Film & Media Institute. But while those awards have been going on for over three decades, the TV Gotham Awards, celebrating the biggest talents in the TV industry, debuted its very first award show yesterday, June 4.

Among the winners of the night was Harriet Dyer from Colin from Accounts for Outstanding Performance in a Comedy Series, Andrew Scott winning Outstanding Performance in a Limited Series for his role in Ripley, Baby Reinder winning Breakthrough Limited Series and many more.

In addition to all the competitive awards, Mariska Hargitay was honored with the Anniversary Tribute for her role in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit as well as The Crown creator Peter Morgan and Expats creator Lulu Wang.

“I cannot tell you how gratifying it is, how important it is, that Law & Order SVU — the longest-running scripted drama in television history — is a show that tells women’s stories,” Hargitay said in her speech, per People. “It’s a show that tells survivors’ stories. It tells the stories of survivors all along the spectrum of gender identity.”

“I’m deeply honored to receive this award from The Gotham, and I dedicate it to the survivors everywhere who continue to inspire my work,” she concluded.
