This is not a drill: the 2024 Trooping the Colour is in full swing, and Catherine, Princess of Wales, is in the public for the first time in 2024.

On Saturday, June 15, thousands of people in the UK gathered to celebrate this year’s Trooping the Colour parade. For those who don’t know, it’s a military parade that happens early every year to celebrate the official birthday of the leading British monarchy, and obviously, this year, it’s for King Charles III.

Not only does this year’s Trooping the Colour celebrate Charles’ 76th birthday, but it’s also the first time Catherine, better known as Kate Middleton, will be in the public eye ever since her cancer diagnosis. Despite confirming she wouldn’t be at the event, she did a total 180 a day before the event, claiming she’d be there alongside her loved ones. And yes, everyone is freaking out.

Despite the Sussexes Prince Harry and Meghan Markle not being invited again, a bunch of the members of the royal family have come all out to celebrate (including ones we didn’t see coming).
