Sophia Bush, Ashlyn Harris & More Stars at the American Ballet Theatre’s Premiere of Woolf Works

While some of us are more artistic than others, having art in our lives – whether it’s through binging TV shows, learning how to knit, or attending ballet shows – is a must for a happy, creative life. So, of course, it’s no wonder that the premiere of the American Ballet Theatre’s new show, Woolf Works, was filled with celebrities during its opening night.

“I grew up a dancer, so I’m so excited to be here,” Sports Illustrated Swimsuit rookie Sharina Gutierrez told SheKnows on the carpet. “I actually studied ballet for ten years and my daughter is studying dance and she’s five so she’s been doing it for two years now and one day I can’t wait to bring her here.”

Woolf Works, choreographed by renowned choreographer Wayne McGregor, is inspired by three of Virginia Woolf’s iconic novels: Mrs. Dalloway, Orlando, and The Waves. Plus, the performance also features legendary ballerina Alessandra Ferri who came out of retirement just for this role at age 61.
