No matter what happens in the Supporting Actress category at the 87th Academy Awards, Meryl Streep is a winner three times over (and has been nominated a whopping 16 additional times!). She made her first victorious trip to the Oscar podium in 1980 for her supporting role in “Kramer vs. Kramer.” In 1983, her haunting lead role in “Sophie’s Choice” earned her a second Oscar. We waited 29 years to see Meryl float back up those stars to claim her third Academy Award as the leading “Iron Lady” in 2012.
