Sometimes the kids of the Sister Wives crew kinda get lumped into the same category as the Duggar family. Sure, they have some stuff in common — like they both have tons of siblings and and they’re stars of reality shows on TLC — but the Brown family is actually quite unique.

Madison just got married
Janelle’s daughter Maddie just married Caleb Bush in an intimate outdoor ceremony in Montana in June 2016.
Hunter is a wrestler
Kody is very proud of his son Hunter’s achievements, which include winning two Nevada wrestling titles.
No to polygamy
Many of the kids don’t want to follow in their parents’ footsteps.
Logan is liberal
Janelle’s son Logan doesn’t share the same conservative premarital mind-set and admits to kissing women.
Meri has one child
Meri only has one kid, 18-year-old Mariah. While Janelle and Christine have six each, and Robyn has five.
Adoption
Kody legally adopted Robyn’s three children — Aurora, Breanna and Dayton — from a previous marriage.
Christine’s unique names
Kody’s third wife Chrsitine is the most unique when it comes to naming her children: Aspyn, Mykelti, Paedon, Gwendlyn, Ysabel, and Truely.
Dayton has Asperger syndrome
Robyn’s 16-year-old son Dayton (from a previous marriage) has Asperger syndrome.
Renaming
Kody raised eyebrows when he renamed Robyn’s children during the adoption ceremony.
Mykleti’s fashion dreams
Mykleti has big dreams of becoming a fashion designer — although this is not something her father really supports.
Robyn’s baby name
The last child to join the Brown family is Ariella Mae — who some thought would be named Meri, in honor of Meri Brown.
Aspyn’s college life
Aspyn attends the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where she has been enjoying Greek life.
Ariella’s 2016 home birth was dicey
Poor baby Ariella’s clavicle was broken by Robyn’s midwife when Ariella got stuck in the birth canal.
