If you’re a fan of The 100, then there’s a good chance you ship Bellamy and Clarke (aka Bellarke) hard. With that, let’s talk about some of their most emotional moments to date.
The Bellarke hug
After escaping Mount Weather, Clarke and Bellamy had an epic reunion hug. If you didn’t get chills watching Clarke run into Bellamy’s arms and the two holding each other tightly, then you clearly have no feelings whatsoever.
The handcuffs
In Season 3, Clarke and Bellamy finally had it out about her not staying with her people after killing the residents of Mount Weather. Clarke is still coming to terms with what she did, and Bellamy is still angry at Clarke for leaving. Yeah, my heart broke when Bellamy yelled, “You left me. You left everyone.” Of course, Clarke also made me feel a lot of things when she said, “I’m sorry for leaving, but I knew I could, because they had you.” However, the moment quickly became even more emotional when Bellamy handcuffed Clarke so he could hand her over to Pike.
The goodbye kiss
At the end of Season 2, and after Bellamy helped Clarke pull the lever eradicating the Mount Weather residents, Clarke said goodbye to Bellamy. It was her way of coping with everything that happened and her tough decision. Watching Bellarke part ways sure wasn’t easy for fans, especially when Clarke kissed Bellamy goodbye on the cheek.
From enemies to friends
If you recall all the way back to Season 1, Clarke and Bellamy started out as enemies. Eventually, they formed an alliance and now are the best of friends. I’m so glad they were able to become friends and somewhat maintain that friendship through all of the bad times they continue to encounter.
Rescuing Wanheda
Season 3 opened with a lot of bad people hunting down Wanheda, aka “The Commander of Death,” aka Clarke. Well, Bellamy wasn’t going to let anyone kill her, so he and a few others from Arkadia attempted to rescue her. His rescue didn’t quite work out, but when Bellamy yelled, “We can’t lose Clarke!” my heart skipped a beat. Bellarke will never not try to save each other from harm.
The Mount Weather takeover
The second season was all about Mount Weather. Who didn’t enjoy watching Bellarke work side by side in the takeover of Mount Weather? When you put these two together, expect results and extremely emotional moments, like when Clarke heard Bellamy’s voice over the radio.
The desolation of Mount Weather
At the end of Season 2, Clarke and Bellamy decided to make the tough decision of saving their people by killing the rest of the Mount Weather residents. Rather than making Clarke do it herself, Bellamy helped her by pulling the lever and allowing radiation inside. Bellamy could see Clarke struggling, so he said to her, “Together,” and they pulled the lever as one.
The other goodbye
Clarke is really good at goodbyes, especially when it comes to Bellamy. While at Polis (Lexa’s city) in Season 3, Bellamy tried to get Clarke to come back to Arkadia with him and the others. However, Clarke thought it best to stay with Lexa to keep an eye on her and to ensure their alliance remains intact. So, once again, Bellarke parted ways.
Chocolate cake and fire talk
Part of Season 2 focused on Bellarke trying to find Finn. One night, they have an intimate conversation while camping out about how Finn changed, the guilt Bellamy felt about leaving Clarke behind (only to be taken by Mount Weather) and the fact that their friends were being drained of their blood to cure the residents of Mount Weather. Then, Bellamy uttered one of the most memorable quotes. He said, “How long until chocolate cake turns into being hung upside down and drained for their blood?”
‘I can’t lose you, too.”
While walking through the forest in Season 2, Clarke explained to Bellamy how important he is to her. After Bellamy said he wanted to sneak into Mount Weather, Clarke said absolutely not. Then she said, “I can’t lose you, too.” These two and their heart-to-heart talks slay me.
‘I need you.’
In Season 1, Clarke and Bellamy slowly grew closer together. In one episode, after Bellamy told Clarke he’s not a good person and his mom would be disappointed, Clarke told Bellamy how much he is needed in keeping everyone alive. Then, she uttered these three words: “I need you.” Oh, Bellarke, you get me.
